I’ll admit, I’ve never been a fan of white nails. Even back in 2009 when everyone and their mother (yes I’m looking at you, Kris Jenner) was sporting the milky hue after it was worn all over the Chanel runway, I still did not find it flattering! And Chanel could never do wrong! But with my upcoming Los Angeles trip approaching, I just wanted a fresh and somewhat neutral color, so I gave Essie’s “Blanc” a try!
If you follow my blog, you know by now that I am a loyal Essie fan but lately I’ve been noticing many runny colors in their line, and “Blanc” happens to be one of them. I felt bad for my manicurist because she was clearly struggling to do her usual perfect paint job with the runny formula. But aside from the brand choice, the question remains: Are white nails a do or don’t?
I say they’re a do, especially when paired with chunky silver knuckle rings! I love coordinating my rings to my nail polish, and this combination just seems oh-so-right. They match everything, and have such a soft clean look. If you’re looking to try this trend, I would recommend “Alpine Snow” by OPI or Sephora by OPI’s “White Hot.”

yeah white nails look great but only on certain skin tones, i think. they looked kinda odd on my hand :/ x
