Review: Deck of Scarlet Matte Eyeshadows
Deck of Scarlet recently extended their Singles Collection with a line of seven new matte eyeshadows. The decadent shades range from cool to warm-toned hues that all pair perfectly with any skin tone. The brand generously sent me the line of single shadows to try, and I’m so excited to share the swatches with you!

The Formula

Official Description: These blendable mattes are also super-versatile and are designed to complement metallic eyeshadows (such as the Deck of Scarlet Foil Collection) so you can easily switch your usual daytime look into a daringly bold evening look, without missing a beat.

The Colors

Buzz: Wine drunk and decadent
Good Angel: Dark chocolate, with a tinge of burgundy
IRL: A deep orange
Selfie: Bare naked brilliance, blended with warm peach tones
Soft Filter: The palest ballet pink
Throwback: A super plush purple
Zoom In: Decadent whipped cream

Swatches

My favorite shades are Throwback and Selfie! The lighter shades, Zoom In and Soft Filter are kind of hard to see in my swatch photo but they are just as pigmented as the rest of the decadent bunch!
