With the extreme success of Urban Decay’s Naked line, I knew I had to have at least one palette in my collection. I tried to look past all the hype with the recent release of the Naked3 palette and choose one that would be the best fit for my skin tone and eye color. Wet n Wild Fergie Nail Color in Take The Stage – Review & Swatches
Lately I’ve been obsessing over glitter nail polish (most likely due to the holiday season), and Wet n Wild’s Fergie nail color line doesn’t disappoint when it comes to sparkles. ‘Take The Stage’ is one of the many sparkly colors available in this line. L’Oreal Colour Rich Nail Lacquer in Rendezvous Review & Swatches
L’Oreal’s ‘Rendezvous’ is a bright tomato-red jelly-like nail color. The formula is a bit thicker and has an intense shine factor to it – resulting in a gel nail look (not complaining!) I found this nail polish much easier to work with than L’Oreal’s ‘How Romantic‘, as the formula wasn’t as runny and glided on much more smoothly. Dupe: Essie Ballet Slippers VS. L’Oreal How Romantic Nail Polish
When I bought L’Oreal’s ‘How Romantic’ nail polish I didn’t even realize that it was so identical to Essie’s ‘Ballet Slippers’ until I stored it on my on-display style nail polish shelf. I thought this would be a great dupe post since ‘Ballet Slippers’ is one of Essie’s most coveted shades. Even Queen Elizabeth herself refuses to wear any color BUT Ballet Slippers on her very royal nails (see here). Continue reading “Dupe: Essie Ballet Slippers VS. L’Oreal How Romantic Nail Polish”
Review: Dior Addict Lip Maximizer High Volume Lip Plumper
Finding a good lip plumper can be surprisingly challenging, considering there are entire blogs dedicated to finding the right one! I’ve recently started researching lip plumpers and their effectiveness, only to learn there are a limited number of ones that both plump and are aesthetically appealing. Essie Belugaria Holiday 2013 Encrusted Treasures Collection
Unlike Essie’s Winter 2013 Collection, the Encrusted Treasures Collection has received somewhat mixed reviews. The collection features six new textured glitter shades that will truly make you remember why I bolded ‘texture’. Continue reading “Essie Belugaria Holiday 2013 Encrusted Treasures Collection”

Wet n Wild Megalast in Wet Cement – Review & Swatches
Lately, I’ve been trying to broaden my horizons in the world of beauty – and not just stick to my favorite brands. I’ve always had this notion that the price oftentimes determined quality. But this is certainly not always the case, as I have discovered with my new wet n wild products. Wet n Wild’s Megalast nail color line certainly lives up to it’s name – being long lasting. Continue reading “Wet n Wild Megalast in Wet Cement – Review & Swatches”
Dupe: Revlon Soft Nude vs. MAC Creme d’ Nude
Revlon’s ‘Soft Nude’ is a well known dupe for MAC’s ‘Creme d’ Nude’. In the containers, these two colors do look very similar, but when applied to the lips, I really don’t see them as dupes at all. Being a loyal and somewhat obsessed MAC fan, I will make sure to keep this comparison post as unbiased as possible. Let’s begin this battle of drugstore vs. high end nude lipsticks! Continue reading “Dupe: Revlon Soft Nude vs. MAC Creme d’ Nude”
Dupe: Essie Leading Lady vs. Essie Toggle To The Top
Hello my lovely readers! So I’ve done a couple dupe posts now and I’m not quite sure if I want to categorize them as so. Many people think as ‘dupes’ as similar products for a lower price point, and so far the products I have compared are within the same brand or price range. Although dupe is not one of my favorite words, it will have to do for now! Onto the review! Continue reading “Dupe: Essie Leading Lady vs. Essie Toggle To The Top”
