Finding a good lip plumper can be surprisingly challenging, considering there are entire blogs dedicated to finding the right one! I’ve recently started researching lip plumpers and their effectiveness, only to learn there are a limited number of ones that both plump and are aesthetically appealing. But not to worry, Dior’s Lip Maximizer will give you a reason to end your long overdue search for a perfect plumper.
Dior Addict Lip Maximizer High Volume Lip Plumper ($31 USD) comes in one shade – “Sheer Pink.” When applied to the lips, it looks just like a clear gloss but with a more jelly-like texture. However, it’s definitely not too thick or sticky like other plumpers can be. I find it to be the perfect texture, and goes great over a nude lipstick.
The ‘sting’ of this plumper was very mild, and took a few minutes to settle in. Compared to Victoria’s Secret VERY VOLUPTUOUS plumper and DuWop’s Lip Venom, the tingle was definitely very minor – but still noticeable.
Dior claims that after 15 days of use, your lips will ‘look noticeable fuller and more defined’. I haven’t used it that long yet, but I have noticed a fuller look to my lips in just a few days of usage.
