Out of all the lipkit shades, ‘Mary Jo K’ seems to be the least sought after of the bunch. Although red lipstick never really goes out of style, it seems people are more interested in acquiring the latest trending color – which explains why ‘Posie K’, ‘Dolce K’ and ‘Candy K’ seem to sell out the quickest. Whatever the case may be, ‘Mary Jo K’ is still sold out like the rest of the lipkits so let’s take a look at some alternative lippies for the meantime!
The Dupes
1. Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in “Redrum” ($18)
The Trendmood Instagram always has the best swatch comparisons, so this photo alone could be a dupe list for ‘Mary Jo K’. On the far right, you can see how similar ‘Redrum’ is to ‘Mary Jo K’. ‘Redrum’ has a slight warmer tone but otherwise, it’s a pretty close dupe. I love that ‘Mary Jo K’ is a classic true red, making it very versatile and complimentary on many different skin tones. Buy at AMAZON.
2. Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in “Outlaw” ($20)
Jeffree’s ‘Redrum’ lipstick is also shown swatched along with Kat Von D’s ‘Outlaw’ and ‘Mary Jo K’. I love finding swatches like this because it gives you an idea of how close the shades really are by comparing several other colors. Like ‘Redrum’, ‘Outlaw’ is a bit warmer than ‘Mary Jo K’ but is still very close and also dries completely matte like the liquid lipstick lipkits. Buy at AMAZON.
3. Coloured Raine in “Vanity Raine” ($17)
Another brand that I’m starting to see a lot in my Kylie Cosmetics lipkit dupe posts is Coloured Raine. I have heard of the brand before but haven’t actually bought any of their lipsticks. I’m definitely eager to try one now that I see what a great selection of colors they have. ‘Vanity Raine’ is an absolute dead-ringer for ‘Mary Jo K’. This is probably the closest color I have seen to the Jenner Grandmother-named lipkit. The Coloured Raine lipsticks are much more affordable, retailing just under $20.

4. Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in “Beso” ($24)
Although the Stila All Day Liquid Lipsticks aren’t a whole lot cheaper, I still wanted to include ‘Beso’ because of it’s close similarities to ‘Mary Jo K’. I also wanted to include it because the Stila lipsticks don’t sell out like Kylie’s. It’s kind of hard to tell from the above photo, but ‘Beso’ is also slightly warmer than ‘Mary Jo K’ like a few of the other dupes on this list. Buy at AMAZON.
5. Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in “American Doll” ($20)
The Anastasia Liquid Lipsticks are probably the closest in quality to Kylie’s lipkits. They glide on effortlessly, are highly pigmented, and last all day long. Thankfully, there is an ABH color that’s almost identical to ‘Mary Jo K’. ‘American Doll’ is also a classic true red, with slight warmer undertones. It retails at $20 and is also much easier to find as the Anastasia Beverly Hills website keeps most of the shades in stock at all times (with a few popular shade exceptions).
