As promised, I have continued on my quest to finding dupes for all of Kylie’s Lipkit colors. “Candy K” is a dusty nude shade and also happens to be one of the 3 original shades that Kylie released. It was surprisingly a little difficult to find close dupes to ‘Candy K’ because it’s a unique nude shade, but after lots of research, I have narrowed it down to the most similar lipsticks!
The Dupes
1. Colour Pop Ultra Matte Lipstick in “Midi” ($6)
“Midi” is a soft neutral beige that is slightly lighter than “Candy K” but still very close in shade. As mentioned in my “Posie K” dupe post, the Colour Pop Matte Lipsticks have a great formula, wide variety of trendy colors, and best of all only cost $6! Buy at Colourpop.com.
2. Lipland x Amrezy Liquid Lipstick in “Rezy” ($18.99)
The LipLand x Amrezy “Rezy” lipstick is described as a neutral tint shade that ensures a full body pigmented appearance. ‘Candy K’ is also highly pigmented and these two shades are nearly identical! The ‘Rezy’ Lipstick retails at $18.99 and comes packaged in a luxurious rectangular bottle with gold detailing around the cap. Buy at FOREVER21.
3. Milani Amore Matte Lip Cream in “Adorable” ($8.99)
The Milani Amore Matte Lip Cream in ‘Adorable’ is almost a dead-ringer for the candy shade and will cost you a third of the price. This is the second Milani lipstick that I’ve found to be quite similar to a Kylie lipkit color, so if you’re looking for a more affordable alternative, the Milani Matte Lip Creams are the way to go. 4. Ofra Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in “Pasadena” ($19)
The Ofra Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in ‘Pasadena’ may look darker in the bottle, but when swatched next to ‘Candy K’, it’s tough to tell the two apart. The matte color formula of the Ofra Liquid Lipsticks is soft and creamy in texture and also does not feather past the lip line. They retail at $19 and are available in an extensive variety of shades. Buy at ULTA or HSN.
5. Dose of Colors Liquid Lipstick in “Truffle”($18)
The ever-so-popular Dose of Colors Liquid Lipsticks are a great alternative because they’re not only almost half the price but are not constantly sold out. Currently, the ‘Truffle’ shade is unfortunately unavailable on their website but the brand does regular restocks and notifies customers via their email newsletter of products back in stock. ‘Truffle’ is almost identical to ‘Candy K’, making it another great dupe to the highly sought-after ‘Candy K’. Buy at ULTA.
