As Regina George once complained, “My pores are huge.” Well fear not, Regina, because Benefit’s The Porefessional is a primer that specifically aims to minimize pores with it’s silky lightweight and oil-free formula. And don’t worry, the instructions are not written all in Swedish or something.

Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional Pore Minimizing Primer instantly minimizes the appearance of pores and fine lines for a smoother-than-smooth finish. The formula is translucent and contains a Vitamin E derivative for added hydration.
Packaging
The original packaging for The POREfessional Pore Minimizing Primer featured a distinct 1950s retro, comic-book aesthetic. They have since updated the secret-agent “SpyGal” to a more simplified, “modern” version which is shown in the comparison photo below.
The internet is quite divided on the new design; myself included. I personally prefer the original design but I’m not necessarily opposed to the current one.
Performance
The second I applied this primer, I immediately understood the hype. Not only does it minimize your pores, but it mattifies the skin while leaving it smooth and refined. I love the The lightweight and silky formula goes on exactly how it leaves your skin: smooth. But in my opinion the best part is how it prevents foundation & makeup from settling into pores or fine lines.
