The LA Girl Matte Flat Velvet Lipsticks are a must-have among makeup lovers. The long-lasting, shea butter formula hydrates like a lip balm while rich, bold color saturates lips in a velvety soft matte texture that won’t settle in lines or feather out. The shade “Ooh La La!” is the lightest from the 20+color range; so I quickly reached for our beloved (& sadly discontinued) Fleshpot to compare swatches.
The “Ooh La La!” shade swatched ever so slightly lighter & warmer than MAC’s “Fleshpot”. Considering that this very MAC shade has historically been THE (or one of the) lightest lipstick shades on the market, I was pleasantly surprised to see LA Girl shake things up.
