Nudestix has expanded its popular Nudies collection with the introduction of Nudies Bloom, a radiant take on the brand’s bestselling blush and bronzer sticks. While the original Nudies Matte formula has long been a favorite for its natural, skin-like finish, Nudies Bloom offers a glowier alternative for those who love a fresh, dewy look. If you’re trying to decide between the two formulas, here’s a closer look at how they compare, along with swatches and my thoughts on each.
About the Nudies Collection
One of the reasons Nudestix has become so popular is its easy-to-use approach to makeup. The Nudies sticks are designed for quick application and can be blended directly into the skin using either your fingers, a brush, or the built-in blending brush on the opposite end of the stick. Both Nudies Matte and Nudies Bloom come in the same convenient cream stick format and can be used on the cheeks for a natural flush of color or warmth.
Nudies Matte

Nudies Matte is the original formula and remains one of the brand’s most popular products. The texture is creamy and easy to blend, but it sets down to a natural matte finish that looks like part of your skin rather than sitting on top of it. Despite the name, the finish isn’t flat or dry—it simply mimics the appearance of healthy skin without adding extra glow.
Swatched above are Sunkissed Pink, a cool bright rose-pink blush; and Sunkissed Cool, a cool bronze rose bronzer.
Nudies Bloom

Nudies Bloom brings a different finish to the collection. The formula delivers a luminous splash of sheer color with a juicy, plump, and glassy finish. This formula has a much dewier texture and leaves behind a fresh, healthy-looking sheen that makes cheeks appear naturally radiant. There are 9 shades total; including Poppy Girl – a neutral watermelon coral.
Swatch Comparison
When swatched side by side, the finish is where the biggest difference becomes apparent. The Nudies Matte shades appear smoother and more velvety once blended, while Nudies Bloom reflects light and gives the skin a more luminous look. Depending on the shade, the Bloom formula can also appear slightly brighter because of its radiant finish.
