ColourPop’s Pretty Fresh Tinted Foundation Balm is a creamy, skincare-infused foundation stick that glides on effortlessly to blur imperfections and provide a second-skin finish. Since it’s currently one of my go-to complexion products, I wanted to see how it compares to foundations from other brands, especially when it comes to shade matching. Below, I compare the shade “Light 7” with Covergirl Clean Fresh Blurring Skin Tint in 415 Light Neutral.

Covergirl Clean Fresh Blurring Skin Tint “415 Light Neutral” | Buy at Amazon or ULTA.

At first glance, these two shades sit in a very similar depth range, but there are are a few notable differences once you look closely:
• CoverGirl 415 Light Neutral appears slightly deeper and more muted, with a true neutral undertone. It leans neither strongly yellow nor pink, which makes it a good option for neutral-leaning light skin tones (like me!)
• ColourPop Light 7 is a touch lighter and warmer, with a subtle golden undertone that shows more clearly once it’s blended out.
If you currently wear CoverGirl 415 Light Neutral, ColourPop Light 7 could work as a match if you don’t mind a warmer, glowier finish. However, if you’re very particular about staying neutral, the CoverGirl shade is the safer option. Likewise, if you already use ColourPop Light 7 and are considering the CoverGirl Skin Tint, expect a slightly deeper, more muted result with less warmth and added oil control.
