Get the Look: Kim Kardashian’s Met Gala 2017 Makeup
The 2017 Met Gala was a huge success last Monday night in New York City. While the fashion choices are the main focus of the extravagant event, we couldn’t help but recognize the stunning beauty looks that accompanied all the avant-garde frocks. From over-the-top makeup including watercolor eyeshadow and cotton candy hair (and let’s not forget Cara Devlivgne’s painted on hair) to more simple makeup to offset the attention-grabbing outfits, there were plenty of beauty looks to obsess over. With that being said, my favorite look from the night was Kim Kardashian’s simple but angelic makeup! With Mother’s Day just around the corner, Lime Crime has released the M$lf Collection, a limited edition set of 4 Velvetines. The 4 ‘goes-with-everything’ neutral shades include: M$LF, Cougar, Low Cut, and Stacy’s Mom. The set retails for $56 and won’t be around for long, so I have decided to dupe this entire collection! The first dupe up on the list is “M$LF” a rose nude hue with a matte finish. After comparing countless side by side swatches, I have found 5 alternative colors that are so close, if not exact replicas of the limited edition Velvetine. Let’s begin the dupes!
