For years I’ve dealt with trying to conceal my undereyes with various eye creams and makeup, but nothing really ever worked that well for me. That is, until I looked into undereye or tear trough fillers at Skin Refine MedSpa in Sunnyvale, California. Up until I decided to try getting undereye filler, I had only ever had Botox/Dysport done, so I was pretty nervous to say the least. But it turned out that I had nothing to be worried about. Not only was the treatment completely painless, but the results were everything I could have ever hoped for. I was treated by the incredibly skilled Sandra Sayedi, PA-C at Skin Refine MedSpa, who had previously done my Dysport. You can read about my experience with that injectable here.
My Treatment
When I arrived for my appointment at Skin Refine MedSpa, I was greeted with such a warm welcome by the staff & waited only a few minutes in their luxurious reception area before being brought back to have numbing cream put on. I am ALL about the numbing cream!
Once the numbing cream kicked in, it was time to begin the treatment! Before injecting, Sandra went over the entire process with me and discussed all of my concerns which included under eye hollowness and dark circles.
For my treatment, Sandra used Restylane, a Hyaluronic acid based filler to restore volume under my eyes and also to lift up the mid-cheek area. As skin below the eyes loses volume, they can become more pigmented, so adding filler to this area also helps to eliminate dark circles which was another main concern of mine. Below are my before and after results and I still can’t get over what an amazing improvement this treatment has made! Restylane for Under Eye Troughs Before & After

When deciding on injectables, one of the most important things to consider is who is going to be administering your treatment. It may not sound like a big difference to someone with minimal knowledge of injectables, but it’s in fact extremely important to make sure your treatment is done by an experienced and very knowledgeable physician or physician assistant. I had the pleasure of having both my Dysport and under eye filler done by Sandra Sayedi, an amazing Certified Physician Assistant in Sunnvale, California who has extensive experience of over 13 years with cosmetic procedures and medical grade skin care. Sandra did an amazing job with my eye trough filler, and I no longer have dark circles/hollowness or look tired all the time! She also touched up my Dysport after my filler treatment so I no longer have the frown lines from before, and she also gave my eyebrows a slight raise by injecting right above them.

Do you long for a flawless but completely natural make-up? With these seven tips you will look much less “painted” immediately
To be able to leave the house every day without make-up would really be a dream for many women. But the fact is that the majority of women feel much more comfortable with make-up and can simply leave the house more confidently. The natural make-up look is the timeless favourite: But how do you apply make-up naturally? Just follow these tips and the natural make-up is guaranteed to succeed before going on you date with the guy picked up from freechatlines.
1. Prepare your skin
For a particularly flawless look, you should properly prepare your skin before applying make-up: Cleanse your face first with a light cleansing gel and then gently pat your skin dry. This will remove dirt and impurities from the skin. Then apply a moisturizing cream and let it absorb sufficiently. These steps will prepare your skin for the make-up, which will not only look more natural but also last longer. Small tip: A Pore Minimizer is suitable for the absolute flawless look, which is applied to the facial regions with enlarged pores and thus additionally levels the skin.
2. Use a concealer
The concealer is a true miracle cure: it conceals dark rings under the eyes, hides small scars and covers backward spots. However, less is more – the concealer should only be applied to the affected areas and not too large. You should know these three ultimate concealer tricks.
3. Apply make-up and powder in moderation only
For a natural look, make-up and powder should only be applied in moderation. The make-up should not be layered, but only worked into the skin in small quantities. This will give you a flawless complexion and your face will not look like a mask.
4. Use natural shades of colour
You should use natural and unobtrusive colours for both eye shadow and rouge. For the ideal natural look you should always choose eye shadow a shade darker than your skin. For rouge, choose a rosy or slightly peachy shade and brush only a small amount. This makes your look particularly natural and gives you the glow you need.
5. Do not use eyeliner
The eyeliner emphasizes the eyes and can support an intense look. For a natural look you should do without any eyeliner. But if you can’t get rid of the eyeliner at all, you should use a soft brown instead of a dark black to achieve softer contours.
6. Emphasize your eyelashes
Instead of the eyeliner you can use mascara to accentuate your eyes. In order to open your eyes especially, you can grab an eyelash curler in preparation and bend the eyelashes slightly into shape. Only then should you use mascara, otherwise the eyelashes could break off.
7. Emphasize the eyebrows
The natural make-up look is rounded off by the eyebrows, which you are welcome to accentuate. The colour shade of the eyebrows should be based on your hair colour or just a shade darker. With an eyebrow pencil the eyebrows can be traced naturally and brought into shape.
