Mascara is probably one of the most essential beauty items, and even if you don’t wear much makeup I bet you’ve owned a few in your time! New and innovative mascaras come out all the time, and they’re usually either a hit or miss. As my beauty collection grows, I have tried countless types of mascaras and have made a list of 5 mascaras you must try now!
The Mascaras
1. Lashem Extensions In a Bottle Mascara ($20)
Tradtional mascaras are great and all but nothing can really compare to a fiber eyelash mascara like Lashem’s Extensions In a Bottle. 2. Rimmel London ScandalEyes XX-Treme Volume and Length Mascara ($6.99)
Rimmel London is one of my favorite drugstore brand mascaras and ScandalEyes XX-Treme will prove to you why. The innovate two-sided dual-action brush separates and lengthens lashes for an eye-opening and enviable look. The applicator brush also contains tiny two-pronged bristles to deliver instant volume, while the flat side has elongated teeth to prevent any clumping and define the lashes. 3. Kiko Milano Extra Sculpt Volume Mascara ($13)
I recently discovered the Kiko Milano brand of makeup and so far the mascara is one of my favorites. This Volumizing mascara has a hourglass-shaped brush that evenly distributes the creamy texture of the amazingly pigmented formula. The brush also has square-shaped ends which reach hard to reach and shorter corner lashes so no lash is left untouched! The shape of the mascara bottle is also really modern and cool – and definitely caught my eye right away. Buy at kikocosmetics.com.
4. Jane Iredale Purelash Lengthening Mascara ($24)
For lashes that are thick and feathery, Jane Iredale’s Purelash Lengthening Mascara just became your new best friend. Not only does the dual-ended brush help define every lash but the formula of this mascara is developed with Seaweed Lipids and Wheat Protein that actually work to thicken and curl lashes naturally. The mascara is also formulated with Panthenol and Cellulose Fibers that both condition and lengthen lashes while making them look fabulous at the same time. Buy at JaneIredale.com.
5. Dakota Vox Lighted Mascara ($12.99)
Innovative may not even be a great enough word to justify how awesome this Light-Up mascara is. The push-button on the cap turns on an LED light that works perfectly with the attached mirror on the casing to touch up your lashes from anywhere!
