The Essie Spring 2015 Flowerista Collection featured six brand new shades, and Flowerista happened to be the namesake and the color I thought I would give a try.
Essie describes “Flowerista” as a passionate plum dahlia. The color tends to look quite different depending on the lighting. These photos were taken inside with the flash, so in natural light the color looks a bit lighter and more of a pink-plum.
The formula of “Flowerista” is amazing. After applying, I realized I could get away with just one coat of it, but applied two for the purpose of the post. It was super easy to apply and even with my subpar nail painting skills, came out quite nice.
This is the perfect color to wear for Spring and just a great addition in general to add to your nail polish collection. “Flowerista” is available online or at your local drug store for around $8.50.
