Concealer is one of those products that is either a huge hit or miss. It has one job to do and that is to conceal blemishes and hide under-eye circles. Although some are better suited for one or the other, Benefit’s Boi-ing concealer is perfect for both areas.
Not to sound like I’m exaggerating but the first moment I tried on this concealer in Sephora, it was love at first sight. Not only did it completely conceal my under eye circles, but the light-weight matte formula blended in so well with my skin. Not to say that you shouldn’t set this with a finishing powder, but it seriously dries to perfection. Compared to Benefit’s Erase Paste concealer which comes off as a bit cakey, the Boi-ing concealer is much more of a natural formula, containing ingredients such as petroleum jelly, corn oil, and soybean oil. It glides on super easy and also has great staying power.
I purchased the 02 shade in ‘Light/Medium’ for medium complexions. It also comes in four other shades from 01 in ‘Light’ for the fairest of complexions to 05 in ‘deep’ for darker complexions.
Another thing I love about this concealer is that it also doubles as a great lip eraser. Because I have more pigment in my lips, I love to dab some of the boi-ing concealer all over my lips to make them flesh toned, so that when I apply a lip liner or lipstick, it appears true to color. Because of it’s light-weight matte formula, it works as a great base coat on the lips, while also making my lipstick last longer throughout the day.
