Kylie Cosmetics Posie K Liquid Lipstick Dupes

Kylie Jenner Posie K Dupes

Kylie Jenner Posie K Dupes
It’s no secret that Kylie Jenner’s Lipkits are hard to get one’s hands on – unless you keep up with the social media queen on her apps to be notified of a restock. However, even the restocks sell out in minutes so I’ve decided to compile a list of dupes of each lip kit shade and the first color I’m starting with is “Posie K”!

The Dupes

1. Colour Pop Ultra Matte Lipstick in “Clueless” ($6)

“Clueless” is almost a dead-ringer for “Posie K” and is the closest in shade to the poppy pink lipstick I have seen thus far. The Colour Pop Lipsticks are also much less expensive, retailing for just $6 ($24 cheaper than the Kylie Lipkit). I haven’t personally tried the Colour Pop Lipsticks but have read from other bloggers that they have a great formula and also have a wide and great selection of colors. Buy at AMAZON.

2. Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in “Mother” ($20)

I wasn’t able to find a side-by-side swatch of Kat Von D’ ‘Mother’ and ‘Posie K’ but this photo from @DupeThat shows how close the shade is to ‘Doll Parts’ and ‘Soft Lilac’, which I have also included in my dupe list. I personally love the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks as they have a smooth formula, are long-lasting, and have a great range of unique and trendy colors. Kat Von D knows makeup and it’s no surprise that her line of liquid lipsticks sell out quickly just like Kylie’s.
Buy at AMAZON or SEPHORA.

3. Milani Amore Matte Lip Cream in “Precious” ($8.99)

Another really close dupe for ‘Posie K’ is Milani’s ‘Precious’. I believe ‘Posie K’ is the swatch on top, since it has slightly bluer undertones than ‘Precious’. Aside from that, the 2 colors are pretty close and the Milani Lip Creams happen to be a lot cheaper, retailing just under $10. Buy at AMAZON or TARGET.

4. Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in “Patina” ($24)

One of Stila’s most popular Liquid Lipsticks is the dusty rose shade, ‘Patina’. It’s almost identical to ‘Posie K’ with just a tiny difference in the formula’s finish. ‘Patina’ is slightly less matte-looking. You can kind of see what I mean in the above swatches. Buy at AMAZON, SEPHORA or NORDSTROM.

5. Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipstick in “Doll Parts” ($18)

One of my favorite liquid lipstick line EVER is Jeffree Star’s line of Velour Liquid Lipsticks. Not only is the quality and color range so amazing but the names he chooses for each unique color are inspired by one of my favorite bands of all time – Hole! “Doll Parts” is named after one of the band’s most memorable songs and has also been my favorite since High School. The above swatch photo was the only one I could find comparing the two so I do apologize if their distance apart makes it hard to tell how similar they are. ‘Doll Parts’ definitely has more pink and is brighter than the dustier/rosey ‘Posie K’. Jeffree’s Velour Lipsticks retail at $18 and tend to sell out like Kylie’s lipkits. Buy at BEAUTYBAY or AMAZON.

6. Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in “Soft Lilac” ($20)

Last but certainly not least, Anastasia’s Liquid Lipstick in ‘Soft Lilac’ is another shade I found to be quite close to ‘Posie K’. I couldn’t find a side-by-side swatch but as you’ll see from the Kat Von D swatch (#2 on this dupe list), it’s almost a dead-ringer for ‘Doll Parts’ so it’s also a bit brighter and pinker than ‘Posie K’ but still makes for a good dupe. The Anastasia Liquid Lipsticks have a great and long-lasting formula, and are another one of my favorite liquid lipsticks along with Jeffree Star’s line. Buy at AMAZON, SEPHORA or NORDSTROM.
